Erinn Noel House
1972 – 2009

Erinn Noel House passed away on September 8, 2009, with her family present following a four (4) month stay in Stanford University Medical Center where she underwent her second open heart surgery and a brief two (2) week stay in Kaiser Hospital Santa Clara.

An Oxnard native, Erinn was born on December 1, 1972 and was always the youngest in her class. She received her early education in the Port Hueneme School District and graduated from Santa Clara High School in 1990. Erinn continued her education at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo majoring in Business Administration, Information Systems.

Ms. House’s work history included serving as a training coordinator at Tas-Com in San Luis Obispo where she provided translation along with other skills and working as an associate vice-president of account management at the non-profit, Pipevine in San Francisco. Erinn’s most recent position was as a data analyst and event planner for the Alumnae Association of Mills College in Oakland.

Despite a host of daunting, life-threatening illnesses, Erinn remained fiercely independent, self-supporting and unwaveringly devoted to her family and friends — particularly her beloved nieces and nephews. Erinn loved living in the Bay Area. She was proudly bilingual and thoroughly enjoyed the beach and swimming, do-it-yourself projects, compelling books, electronic gadgets and creative cuisine. She was witty, considerate, comedic and unfailingly selfless.

Erinn was preceded in death by her father, Robert House, a long time teacher in the Oxnard Elementary School District. Left to mourn Erinn’s passing are her mother, Colleen House of Oxnard; sisters, April House of Palo Alto, CA. and Candace House of Los Angeles, CA.; two (2) nieces, Alexis Cymonne Stull and Alana Cassidy Stull; two (2) nephews Austin Chase Stull and Aidan Collins Stull; grandmother, Cleo J. Glenn of Detroit, MI and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends and work colleagues.

Ms. House’s family has stated that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Stanford University Medical Center’s – Two (2) North Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit where Erinn received superior and kind care at the hands of dedicated professionals.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Monday, September 14, 2009 at Mary Star Catholic Church in Oxnard. Interment will follow at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo.
