we went to de young museum to see the king tut exhibit! it’s amazing, mind-boggling and i feel privileged to see the exhibit and all the artifacts!
howard carter is an archaeologist who discovered the tomb of king tut… what’s the big deal? king tut was buried in the Valley of the Kings, where he lay undisturbed for some 3,300 years until howard discovered his tomb in November, 1922. yes, 3300 years!!!
don’t expect to see king tut’s remains at the exhibit as his mummified remains still lie in a stone sarcophagus in his burial chamber.
