i have been looking for madeleine baking pans and finally i found them!!! madeleine are french sponge cakes – and francesca loves them!
i made some today and my food critic, clif said they are good; i used organic whole wheat flour instead of just plain all-purpose flour; i didn’t realize these are so easy to make and all of the ingredients are very common and those are the ones you always have in your kitchen!
I will dip some of the madeleine in dark chocolate tomorrow… these are sinfully delicious! there goes my 1000 calories a day limit!
